Summary

Provide customers with high-quality tailoring services by measuring, fitting, and altering garments to achieve proper fit and finish. Perform sewing alterations and customer fittings on time while meeting department productivity standards. Use store technology to manage alteration requests and prioritize multiple customer needs in a fast-paced retail environment. Collaborate with the alterations and store team and educate customers and coworkers on fit, construction, and style.

Responsibilities

• Measure customers for size and fit and mark garments for required alterations
• Perform and complete fittings and sewing alterations on time according to store guidelines
• Operate sewing, pressing, and standard alterations equipment safely
• Meet department and individual productivity goals and follow proper processes
• Use store technology to manage and organize customer alteration requests
• Collaborate with team members to deliver excellent customer service and educate on fit and style

Requirements

• Previous fitting, tailoring, and sewing experience; preferred minimum of 2-3 years
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers and customers
• Ability to stay organized and prioritize multiple tasks and customer requests
• Willingness to learn and safely operate sewing and pressing machinery
• Flexible availability to accommodate business needs
