Summary
The Selling Supervisor mentors sales associates to deliver elevated customer experiences, supports category management and sales objectives, maintains high operational and merchandising standards, and assists with daily team supervision at the store level.
Responsibilities
- Meet individual and store sales targets and consignment goals
- Incorporate product knowledge to maximize sales and transaction value
- Lead and empower the sales team to provide high quality customer service
- Coordinate use of client relationship resources to provide elevated service
- Support Store Manager in developing staff through mentoring and integration of newcomers
- Assist with stock and store operations and POS inventory functions
- Open and close the store following company procedures and ensure tender balances
- Partner with Visual Manager to maintain merchandising standards and visual environment
- Supervise team and implement company policies in absence of Store Management
Requirements
- Business school, university degree, or equivalent experience
- Minimum of 7 years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- Minimum of 1 year of supervisory experience preferred
- Computer literate with proficiency in general software such as Word and Excel
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
- Customer service oriented with strong problem solving skills
