Summary
The Selling Supervisor supports the boutique’s client experience and sales objectives on the selling floor, working closely with the sales team and management in a fast-paced luxury environment. This role is responsible for merchandising and workstation upkeep, accurate POS operations, asset protection procedures, inventory activities, and delivering exceptional client service.
Responsibilities
- Meet individual monthly and annual sales goals and contribute to boutique targets.
- Maintain selling floor and workstation standards including replenishment, visual merchandising, ticketing and physical EAS tagging.
- Process transactions accurately, manage CRM records, and perform opening and closing POS procedures including till reconciliation.
- Manage returns and exchanges in accordance with store policy and obtain management approval for exceptional requests.
- Support inventory preparation and participate in cycle counts and other inventory activities.
- Follow asset protection protocols including store access, alarm procedures, key log controls, bag checks and merchandise security.
- Provide high levels of client service: greet, assist, answer questions and assist with wrapping and packaging at POS.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in selling and/or a supervisory capacity.
- Experience in a luxury retail environment preferred.
- Strong relationship development, communication and organizational skills; able to multi-task and work independently and as part of a team.
- Open availability to accommodate business needs and regular in-person work at a designated boutique.
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
