Summary
The Selling Supervisor coaches and supervises the boutique sales team to deliver elevated customer experiences, achieve sales goals and maintain high operational and visual standards at the Topanga store. This role supports daily store operations, merchandising and staff development while assisting store management.
Responsibilities
- Coach and motivate sales associates to meet sales goals and provide elevated customer service
- Manage use of client relationship resources to enhance client service
- Assist sales associates with customer service issues and empower decision making
- Utilize POS and inventory management functions and ensure tender balances
- Open and close the store following company policies and complete related paperwork
- Partner with Visual Manager to uphold merchandising and visual standards
- Monitor sales performance and take corrective action to maximize results
- Supervise team in absence of Store Management and enforce company policies
- Identify training needs and develop staff through meetings and goal setting
Requirements
- 7+ years of sales experience, preferably in luxury retail
- 1+ years of supervisory experience preferred
- College degree or equivalent preferred
- Proficiency with computer software including Word and Excel and POS systems
- Strong communication, leadership and problem solving skills
- Ability to motivate others and build effective teams
- Service oriented with strong customer focus
- Experience with inventory accuracy and loss prevention practices
