Senior Engineer 2 - Site Reliability Engineering

Summary

The Senior Engineer 2 will join the Site Reliability Engineering team to build scalable, reliable, and resilient systems. This hybrid role leads projects that improve operational excellence and system performance.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems meet operational standards.
• Mentor engineers on site reliability engineering best practices.
• Lead the design and implementation of operational excellence projects.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and develop tools and automation.
• Participate in on-call rotations and maintain system documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent experience.
• 10 or more years of software engineering experience focused on site reliability or infrastructure.
• Proficiency with Kubernetes and containerization technologies.
• Experience with Java, Go, or Python and cloud providers such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Strong networking knowledge, problem-solving skills, and communication skills.
