Summary

The Senior Manager, Market and Performance Insights leads market and competitive intelligence for the U.S. Fragrance and Beauty division, translating complex data into actionable insights to inform distribution, marketing, and commercial strategy. This role partners with external data vendors and cross functional teams to develop governance, reporting dashboards, and strategic analyses that guide leadership decisions and drive business performance.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary U.S. contact for market intelligence vendors and manage contracted tools and licenses
• Govern and maintain competitive and market data sources ensuring accuracy and accessibility
• Develop and maintain structured files and dashboards to monitor category channel and brand performance
• Conduct and synthesize external research including industry news economic indicators and consumer behavior shifts
• Produce actionable insights and strategic implications for internal stakeholders
• Lead monthly and quarterly insight publications highlighting business position versus market
• Collaborate with Marketing Media Insights Digital and Global teams to connect insight to action
• Support strategic planning processes by providing data and materials for budget and long term plans
• Deliver ad hoc market and competitive analyses to address evolving business questions

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
• 5–7 years of professional experience with a strong analytical foundation
• Experience in fragrance beauty industry or luxury retail preferred
• Strong understanding of data governance automation and collaboration with data engineering
• Proven ability to extract insights from large complex data sets and communicate findings
• Advanced Excel skills and experience building models dashboards and scenario analyses
• Experience with BI tools such as Power BI or Tableau
• Excellent communication presentation and stakeholder influence skills
• Highly organized self motivated and results driven with strong prioritization skills
