Senior Manager, Security Platform Engineering

Summary

Lead the security platform engineering team to design, implement, and modernize enterprise security controls and platforms. Own strategy and roadmap across endpoint protection, cloud security, data protection, email security, and logging/monitoring with an AI-first approach. Drive platform consolidation, migrations, and operational excellence while partnering with cross-functional stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a multi-quarter strategic roadmap for security platforms and champion AI-driven opportunities.
• Lead design, implementation, lifecycle management, and consolidation of platforms including EDR, DLP, SIEM, CSPM, and email security.
• Manage RFPs, technical evaluations, complex migrations and upgrades with minimal business disruption.
• Establish platform standards, metrics, incident response oversight, and continuous improvement processes.
• Build, mentor, and scale a high-performing engineering team and implement performance management and succession planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of experience in information security or cybersecurity with a focus on security engineering, architecture, or operations.
• 3-5 years of experience in security management roles leading technical teams.
• Deep knowledge of endpoint protection, data security, monitoring, cloud security, and security frameworks (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001).
• Experience with security platform implementations, migrations, and AI-enabled security tooling; relevant certifications preferred.
