SummaryAs a Senior Manager Wholesale RTW at Valentino, you will be responsible for managing the Women’s and Men’s Ready-To-Wear wholesale business. Responsibilities- Oversee current wholesale portfolio and strengthen relationships to grow distribution.
- Assess potential of new and existing clientele, considering sales statistics and expenditures.
- Proactively assess and report business opportunities to retailers.
- Direct and coordinate all activities involving merchandise sale, seasonal and annual expectations.
- Execute Valentino initiatives and strategies in partnership with Brand Manager.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with store teams, Buyers, GMMs, and DMMS.
- Lead, mentor, and guide the ready-to-wear wholesale team and external freelance support roles.
- Recruit, interview, and select candidates for open positions; plan and direct staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
- Build internal/external team objectives, set goals, and assign sales teams accounts/territories.
- Partner with cross-functional departments to carry out wholesale objectives.
- Support concession conversion strategy and business analysis.
Requirements- 10-15 years of experience in relevant sales and luxury fields.
- Luxury RTW wholesale experience required.
- Proven results in achieving sales goals and managing a healthy business.
- Strong business acumen and data analysis ability.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with departments and teams.
- Effective leadership, organization, planning, and implementation skills.
- Ability to negotiate with partners while adhering to brand standards.
- Flexible and available to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.
- Collaborative, entrepreneurial, with a desire to grow with the brand.
