Senior Paralegal

Summary

Senior Paralegal based in New York supporting the Legal team across litigation, employment, commercial, and compliance matters. Acts as a trusted partner to attorneys and cross-functional stakeholders to drive organization, efficiency, and operational excellence in legal processes. Manages complex matters from initiation through resolution and leverages technology, including AI, to improve workflows and case management.

Responsibilities

• Support litigation, employment, regulatory, and commercial matters and coordinate legal workflows.
• Manage case files, track workflows, timelines, key deliverables, and litigation holds.
• Partner with outside counsel to organize files, gather documents, and coordinate interviews.
• Support investigations, monitor regulations, and maintain a centralized legal and regulatory database.
• Ensure document preservation and records management protocols and track legal budget and spend.

Requirements

• 7+ years of paralegal experience with exposure to multiple areas of law.
• Experience supporting discovery, litigation holds, and investigations and strong case management skills.
• Familiarity with legal and business systems such as iManage, Coupa, and Microsoft tools and maintaining legal databases.
• Excellent communication, judgment, discretion, and ability to manage competing priorities independently.
• Comfort adopting AI-enabled tools and leveraging technology to increase efficiency.
