Senior Technical Program Manager - Inventory

As a Senior Technical Program Manager in Inventory at Nordstrom, you will play a pivotal role in managing programs that deliver significant business value. This hybrid position requires working in the Seattle office at least three days a week, focusing on aligning the Merchandising, Inventory, and Supply Chain project portfolio.

• Align project portfolio with organizational goals and annual planning.
• Manage oversight and coordination of cross-project interdependencies and resource allocation.
• Direct creation and maintenance of required portfolio artifacts and ensure adherence to governance protocols.
• Develop and expand complex programs using change management skills.
• Instill a continuous improvement mindset focused on identifying inefficiencies.
• Manage highly complex cross-discipline projects and mentor others.
• Drive collaboration across teams to ensure engagement of the right expertise.
• Define work requirements, create plans, and monitor program execution.
• Organize and communicate complex information clearly to drive action.

• 5+ years of portfolio, program, project, and/or leadership experience.
• BA/BS in a related field preferred.
• Strong leadership and management skills.
• Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proven organizational skills with attention to detail and multitasking abilities.
• Outstanding knowledge of change management principles.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
