Summary
The Specialist, Designated Beauty Advisor develops deep, long lasting relationships with customers to drive sales and loyalty for an assigned luxury beauty brand. This role is focused on achieving personal and brand sales targets through expert product knowledge, client acquisition and retention, and participation in brand events and education.
Responsibilities
- Deliver extraordinary customer service and exceed personal sales and service goals
- Achieve assigned brand sales targets and contribute to department financial objectives
- Build and maintain a loyal personal client base through acquisition and ongoing communication
- Share expert product knowledge with the store selling team and attend educational sessions
- Drive brand sales through event execution and assortment recommendations
- Perform floor recovery, visual merchandising, price changes, and sales support tasks
- Maintain relationships with buyer, vendor, and selling manager
- Resolve customer service issues and escalate as needed
- Comply with health safety and privacy policies
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Minimum of two years experience in a commission based sales environment
- Proven ability to exceed sales targets
- Prior retail sales experience as a product specialist in a luxury environment preferred
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights weekends and holidays
- Highly collaborative and able to work in a fast paced multitasking environment
- Entrepreneurial competitive self confident and self motivated
- Fully bilingual in French and English
