Spring Up 8 Way Hand Tie Associate

Summary

Apply seating platform to upholstered products following quality and product specifications using the 8 Way Hand Tie method. Perform upholstery tasks using hand tools and materials to assemble seating components and support overall manufacturing goals.

Responsibilities

• Apply strings webbing edge roll or other materials to frames using staple gun glue or clinch gun
• Tie springs to frames using the 8 Way Hand Tie method to meet quality specifications
• Use hand tools such as staple gun mallets hammers and staple pullers
• Read and follow production tickets and product design specifications
• Perform other duties as required including tasks outside regular work area
• Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality
• Lift carry push pull or grip up to 100 lbs as required

Requirements

• Six months prior experience in a similar upholstery role
• Knowledge of upholstery product and production processes
• Ability to read production tickets
• Adequate communication skills to interact with team members
• Ability to multitask with minimal supervision
• Detail oriented with consistent attendance and punctuality
