Summary
Join the store team as a Stock Associate supporting inventory operations, shipments and stock room organization while delivering brand-aligned service and assisting management and sales staff in Dallas.
Responsibilities
- Verify accuracy of incoming and outgoing merchandise and supply deliveries
- Perform quick and accurate stock checks and deliver merchandise to the sales floor upon request
- Maintain stock room organization by style, color and size per store procedures
- Execute routine cycle counts and report inventory discrepancies to management
- Ensure outgoing merchandise is properly packaged, logged and staged in the shipping area
- Maximize stock space for efficient access and store operation
- Communicate new arrivals, replenishment and client returns to management and sales team
- Re-stock packaging supplies and assist in training new hires on shipping and receiving procedures
- Complete tasks and projects assigned by Store Management
Requirements
- 1-2 years of retail stock room experience preferred
- Experience with domestic or international freight carriers a plus
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Basic computer skills with Excel experience preferred
- Ability to stand and be mobile for extended periods
- Ability to climb ladders and lift packages up to 20 lbs regularly
- Self-motivated, professional and reliable team player
