Stock Associate

Summary

Full Time Stock Associate responsible for receiving, unpacking and preparing merchandise for the selling floor and maintaining the stock room organization and cleanliness. Role executes operational stockroom functions and follows directives from the Store Manager and corporate office to supervise inventory processes and support floorset implementation. Position requires performing physical tasks including heavy lifting and accurate inventory reporting. This role supports transfers, returns, damages, and inventory audits to minimize shrink and ensure floor readiness.

Responsibilities

• Manage in store receiving process and complete related paperwork accurately and timely
• Reprice merchandise and delegate tasks on the sales floor as needed
• Sensor, tag, steam, fold and hang merchandise for floor presentation
• Prepare floorset merchandise with the Store Manager and replenish the selling floor daily
• Process transfers, returns, damages and customer charge sends per policy
• Maintain organized and clean stock room meeting company standards
• Audit stock room for consistent sizing, folding and organization
• Maintain receiving, returns, transfer and inventory reporting in Retail Pro or similar systems
• Prepare the store for physical inventories and support shrink minimization efforts

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Some heavy lifting required and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• High attention to detail and accuracy in inventory reporting
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
• Retail Pro or inventory system experience preferred
• Excellent communication skills
• College degree preferred
