Summary
The Stock Associate supports the store team in maximizing the shopping experience by managing inventory and maintaining stockroom and sales floor presentation. This role involves receiving, organizing, and processing merchandise shipments and ensuring operational standards are followed.
Responsibilities
- Receive unpack and prepare merchandise for the sales floor
- Process inventory movements and run Negative On Hand reports
- Implement shipment standards floor sets cleanliness and stockroom organization
- Perform re ticketing re pricing markdowns and price changes
- Ship customer goods corporate documents or repairs in a timely manner
- Maintain appropriate stock levels and ensure styles are represented on the sales floor
- Assist sales staff and perform cashier duties as needed
- Protect company assets by following Loss Prevention procedures
- Restock cash desk supplies and maintain back of house cleanliness
Requirements
- Experience in inventory management or stockroom operations
- Ability to receive unpack and prepare merchandise accurately
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Customer service orientation and ability to assist on the sales floor
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with stocking and merchandising
- Effective communication with store management and team members
- Familiarity with shipment procedures and loss prevention practices
- Willingness to follow company operational standards and safety requirements
