Summary
The Stock Controller partners with store operations and sales teams to execute operational duties and ensure compliance with company procedures. This role manages inventory, shipping and receiving, supports stock associates and provides customer service related to repairs and returns while maintaining product presentation and accuracy.
Responsibilities
- Manage inventory control and maintain accurate stock levels
- Oversee shipping and receiving procedures for incoming and outgoing shipments
- Direct staff during store inventories and support stock associates
- Ensure stock is maintained back of house and front of house to operations guidelines
- Provide customer service regarding repairs and returns of merchandise
- Execute company operational policies and procedures as directed by management
- Support store staff to comply with inventory maintenance and back of house operations
- Perform additional operational duties as assigned by management
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years retail operations experience
- Prior luxury retail experience preferred
- Proven inventory management and reporting skills
- Proficient computer knowledge including MS Word Excel and Outlook
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co workers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numbers
- Ability to move merchandise and handle boxes up to 40 pounds
- Willingness to work varied hours and overtime with short notice
