Summary
The Stock Manager is responsible for overseeing stockroom operations and ensuring compliance with Operations Manual and Global Stockroom Guidelines. This role manages shipping and receiving, inventory reconciliation, repairs coordination, supplies and cost control, and supports store operations and reporting. The position partners with store management to maintain inventory accuracy, budget alignment, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Oversee policies and procedures according to Operations Manual and Global Stockroom Guidelines
- Manage and perform daily shipping and receiving duties efficiently
- Troubleshoot and resolve inventory discrepancies and perform cycle counts
- Receive merchandise and complete monthly store reconciliation
- Coordinate and manage repairs and ship out repairs weekly as needed
- Maintain and organize stockroom to prevent loss prevention and sales issues
- Ensure supplies are stocked and order as needed to control costs
- Perform opening and closing procedures and coordinate maintenance and store planning updates
- Ensure required daily, weekly and monthly reporting is submitted
Requirements
- 6+ years of operational experience within luxury retail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Excel and word processing and familiarity with JDA
- Strong organizational skills and commercial awareness
- Ability to lift and move bulk merchandise and work in a fast paced environment
- Proven ability to drive results and manage, coach and develop a team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
- Attention to detail for inventory reconciliation and reporting
