Store Manager

Summary

The Store Manager is the business leader and brand ambassador responsible for overall store performance and delivering an exceptional client experience at the Boston Saks Fifth Avenue location. This role drives sales, implements retail and omni-channel strategies, manages store operations and budget, and represents the brand in the local market. The Manager leads hiring, coaching, succession planning and team development to achieve targets and foster client loyalty.

Responsibilities

• Drive and maximize sales performance and exceed store KPIs.
• Develop business plans and sales strategies in collaboration with merchandising and operations teams.
• Be present on the sales floor to ensure high standards of client service and a strong private appointment culture.
• Recruit, coach and develop the store team, ensuring succession planning and professional growth.
• Manage store operating budget, control expenses and enforce cash, inventory and reporting procedures.
• Ensure visual merchandising and displays meet company guidelines to maximize sales.
• Partner with events and clienteling teams to plan local events and initiatives that increase client engagement.

Requirements

• Proven retail management experience, ideally in luxury fashion.
• Strong leadership, team management and coaching skills.
• Customer centric mindset with excellent clienteling and communication abilities.
• Organized, detail oriented and commercially driven with market and product knowledge.
• Business or retail management degree is a plus; fluency in English required, additional languages a plus.
