Summary
The Temporary Part Time Sales Associate & Operations Supervisor at the Woodbury Commons boutique supports day-to-day store management by mentoring Sales Associates and developing a strong personal client business. Partnering with the Store Manager, this role drives sales performance, operational excellence, and improves in-store processes to enhance customer service and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the sales floor and mentor staff on standard processes
- Serve as keyholder with opening and closing responsibilities
- Ensure visual merchandising standards are maintained in partnership with the Store Manager
- Assist sales team with client service and confidently lead executives, VIPs, and VICs through the store
- Manage consignments: accurately check, pack, send, and return merchandise and support BOH organization and stock control
- Complete paperwork and procedures related to consignments, distance orders, and stylist agreements
- Support Store Management by deploying training and driving standard methodologies and processes
- Optimize stockroom operations and examine P&L to reduce costs and increase store efficiency
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in a retail environment
- 2+ years of experience in a supervisor or department manager role
- Proven record of driving positive customer interactions and meeting sales goals
- Strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent organizational abilities
- Flexibility to work a retail schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to support operational processes and lead VIP client interactions
