Temporary Sales Supervisor

Summary

Temporary fixed term Selling Supervisor role supporting retail leadership and driving customer service and sales. The supervisor links management and sales associates, assists with merchandising and clienteling, and motivates the team to meet and exceed objectives through strong product knowledge and relationship building.

Responsibilities

• Support store manager with daily store operations and coordination
• Perform opening and closing duties and handle merchandise check in
• Prepare and make deposits as needed
• Supervise sales transactions ensuring accuracy and cash protection procedures
• Coach and mentor sales staff to improve performance
• Promote and sell products to ensure customer satisfaction
• Assist store manager with operational excellence and floor merchandising

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years luxury retail experience in a similar or supervisory role
• Demonstrated competencies relevant to the position
• Inspirational attitude that contributes to a positive team environment
• Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships and set high performance standards
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly in a fast paced environment
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to operate independently with discretion under pressure
• Proficient with personal computers POS systems and MS Office
• Ability to influence and negotiate
