Summary
The Temporary Store Director will lead the Dallas NorthPark store to achieve sales and KPI targets while sustaining brand image and delivering exceptional client experiences. This role manages store operations, team recruitment and development, clienteling efforts, and ensures compliance with headquarters processes and standards.
Responsibilities
- Define and execute the store action plan to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Analyze results regularly and implement follow up action plans
- Recruit, develop and retain store talent and conduct regular appraisals
- Ensure consistent brand presentation and client experience according to VM guidelines
- Oversee day to day store operations including opening and closing and payroll processing
- Manage inventory, supervise warehouse stock and report discrepancies
- Maintain schedules, attendance, petty cash reconciliation and cost conscious decision making
- Ensure compliance with legal, safety, security and internal procedures
- Drive client acquisition, loyalty and engagement with VIPs and prospects
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of successful managerial experience in luxury retail managing at least 20 people
- Inclusive leadership style with strong talent development skills
- High sensitivity to client experience and strong clienteling abilities
- Excellent interpersonal, persuasive and organizational skills
- Adaptability, initiative, curiosity and high availability
- Product and fashion sensitivity with mastery of digital skills
- Ability to engage VIPs and high net worth clients
- Experience with payroll, scheduling and retail operations processes
