Trade Consultant

Summary

The Trade Consultant delivers first-class service to interior design and trade clients within the New York Gallery, driving growth of the trade business and creating a luxury client experience. This role partners with the Residential Trade Leader to qualify, educate and support design clientele through consultations, site visits and coordination of services and installations.

Responsibilities

• Represent the brand with polished communication, appearance and professionalism
• Work in partnership with the Residential Trade Leader to grow the interior design trade business
• Qualify and educate potential design and trade clientele via consultations, site visits and design development support
• Coordinate internal services and product installations and provide product expertise
• Support gallery visual and quality standards and assist with mobilization of merchandise as needed

Requirements

• Experience in a high-end interior design showroom
• Strategic, highly organized and results-oriented with strong attention to detail
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for building a trade business
• Proficiency with Mac OS, Microsoft Office and Google applications
• Clean driving record and valid driver's license; ability to travel locally or out of state and lift up to 25 lbs
