Summary
This VIE role supports the Strategic Business Development team at Corporate Headquarters in New York, combining strategic planning and operational support across retail learning, market development with an Asia focus, commercial watch business development, global real estate operations, and travel retail strategy. The position involves project coordination, research, data analysis, and cross functional collaboration to drive growth initiatives and support decision making during an 18 month assignment.
Responsibilities
- Assist in implementing a Retail Learning framework and supporting retail team development
- Support market research and positioning efforts focused on Asian clientele
- Contribute to commercial watch business development and implementation roadmaps for SAPAC Japan and USA projects
- Monitor and analyze sales performance data and provide actionable insights
- Conduct market research for travel retail strategy and recommend actions
- Translate strategic plans into actionable initiatives and monitor KPIs
- Support execution of ad hoc strategic projects and cross functional alignment
- Prepare research data briefing materials and presentations for the Director
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and consultants to drive initiatives
Requirements
- Fluent English in verbal and business writing
- 3 years of experience in business development consulting sales or a related field
- Understanding of luxury retail especially jewelry and watches is a plus
- Strong analytical problem solving and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively with cross functional teams in a fast paced environment
- Must meet VIE program eligibility including age and citizenship requirements
- Available to work full time in New York for the entire 18 month program
