Job Description

Overview

Join a leading luxury jewelry brand seeking to add a magnetic, motivated, and enterprising sales leader to join its growing wholesale team. This team member will share the responsibility for achieving sell-in and sell-through goals for the entire wholesale business.  This involves building and servicing relationships with national department stores, special boutiques, and independent jewelry stores.  We are looking for an individual that has had success with luxury wholesale sales, specifically in driving asset orders and replenishment by analyzing POS data and inventory levels to maximize turns and overall door productivity.  In addition to working with our existing clients, we are looking for someone who can generate and open new business. 

You'll join a team that is the face of this luxury fine jewelry brand. Acting as a true business partner to store owners, buyers, store/department managers, and sales associates, it is vital for you to be able to maintain and deepen our existing relationships and build new ones.

Responsibilities
  • Fully manage existing wholesale business (schedule/conduct appointments, write orders/rotate asset and consignment merchandise, monitor selling, and general account maintenance)
  • Coordinate & plan for trunk shows and trade show/s
  • Work with buyers and internal office support on marketing and sales initiatives such as: co-op advertising, event promotion, account packaging requirements and incentives.
  • Develop and execute a plan for each store visit
  • Work with the existing wholesale team and internal office to pull your sample trunk collection and maintain and manage the physical inventory of that trunk while it is in your possession.
  • Conduct trunk shows and product knowledge clinics and provide all residual customer service throughout the year.
  • Close sales
  • Ensure that all store teams have knowledge of all brand selling tools, marketing materials and access to our online catalog database 
  • Travel and Events: spend approximately 100-120 days on the road, annual including one to two summer months in Wyoming for the Belle Shops partnership.
  • Must be available to work weekends and most holidays.
  • Generate weekly activity reports as well as recap email reports for the entire wholesale team following each store visit.
  • Attend trade shows and execute necessary follow up: sending orders and confirming orders.
  • Research and target potential accounts in key markets.

Requirements

  • Five or more years of luxury jewelry, watch, or comparable high‑touch wholesale experience.
  • Demonstrated success selling directly to consumers while partnering seamlessly with retail leadership.
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, and relationship‑building abilities.
  • Physically able to manage extensive travel and a 25‑pound sample suitcase.
  • Comfortable working with a mature clientele; candidates across a broad age range are welcome.
  • Career‑oriented and eager for a long‑term home representing our brand with polish and passion.
