Summary

Part-time role responsible for supporting store loss prevention and visual security efforts at the Old Orchard location. The officer monitors the sales floor and perimeter to deter theft and ensure a safe shopping environment while partnering with store management.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sales floor and common areas to deter theft and suspicious activity
• Monitor video surveillance and alarm systems for security incidents
• Conduct observational and overt presence to maintain visual security
• Report incidents and complete accurate security documentation
• Coordinate with store management and law enforcement when necessary
• Assist with investigations and provide witness statements as needed
• Support safety protocols and emergency response procedures

Requirements

• Previous retail or security experience preferred
• Ability to remain observant and maintain high attention to detail
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Willingness to work a flexible part-time schedule including weekends
• Basic report writing and documentation skills
