Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - North Michigan

Summary

Responsible for supporting store safety and loss prevention through visual monitoring and deterrence at the North Michigan location. Patrols public and sales floor areas, observes suspicious activity, and collaborates with store leadership to maintain a secure environment. Performs duties on a part time basis with attention to customer experience and asset protection.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor and common areas for suspicious behavior and potential theft
• Conduct visible deterrent patrols around the store and perimeter
• Report incidents and prepare clear, timely documentation for management
• Coordinate with store leadership and law enforcement when necessary
• Assist with investigations and provide witness statements as required
• Support customer service while maintaining loss prevention presence
• Follow company policies and procedures related to asset protection

Requirements

• Prior experience in loss prevention security retail or related field preferred
• Ability to observe details and remain vigilant during shifts
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Ability to stand and patrol for extended periods
• Flexible availability to work part time hours including evenings and weekends
