Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - North Michigan

Summary

Part time Asset Protection Visual Security Officer to support loss prevention and visual security at a flagship retail location on North Michigan Avenue. The role focuses on observing, deterring, and reporting suspicious activity while maintaining a safe and secure environment for customers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Patrol sales floor and perimeter to monitor for theft and suspicious behavior
• Observe CCTV systems and report incidents to management
• Respond to alarms and investigate security breaches
• Assist in recovery of stolen merchandise and prepare incident reports
• Provide a visible security presence to deter loss and maintain customer safety
• Collaborate with store leadership and local law enforcement when necessary
• Follow company protocols for evidence handling and chain of custody

Requirements

• Previous retail or security experience preferred
• Ability to remain observant and maintain situational awareness
• Strong communication and report writing skills
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during shifts
• Ability to work a part time schedule including weekends and holidays
