Asset Protection Visual Security Officer - Soho

Summary

The Asset Protection Visual Security Officer is responsible for maintaining a safe environment for customers, associates, and merchandise on the sales floor. This role focuses on loss prevention through observation, deterrence, and timely response to incidents while supporting store operations and customer service. The officer monitors cameras, conducts patrols, and documents incidents in accordance with store policy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor sales floor activity and surveillance systems to detect and deter theft or suspicious behavior.
• Conduct regular patrols of the store, fitting rooms, and stock areas and report safety hazards.
• Respond promptly to incidents, assist in investigations, and document observations in written reports.
• Work with store leadership and, when necessary, local law enforcement to resolve incidents per company procedures.
• Provide a visible security presence while maintaining professional customer service standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous retail loss prevention or security experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and remain alert for extended periods and work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Strong observation, communication, and report-writing skills; ability to handle sensitive situations calmly and professionally.
