Summary
The Assistant Boutique Manager supports the Boutique Manager in daily store operations, coaching the sales team, driving commercial performance, and ensuring exceptional customer service and merchandising standards to meet company expectations.
Responsibilities
- Assist with day-to-day management of the sales team and boutique operations
- Open and close the boutique and oversee store security procedures
- Coach, train, schedule, and develop sales associates to achieve sales goals
- Increase sales, monitor conversion rates, and participate in clientele development
- Prepare and maintain merchandise displays and ensure proper pricing
- Coordinate and participate in inventory and stock management activities
- Minimize stock losses and handle transfers, damages, and returns to vendor
- Facilitate communication between management and associates and conduct store meetings
- Ensure compliance with company policies and operational procedures
Requirements
- Proven ability to develop and train associates and lead a sales team
- Strong customer service and clienteling skills
- Experience managing boutique operations including merchandising and housekeeping standards
- Ability to analyze sales performance and drive commercial results
- Familiarity with POS systems, PC, phone systems, and cash handling
- Effective communication and time management skills in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain fair consistent standards for staff
