Summary
The Assistant Manager partners with the Managing Director and Floor Director to run all aspects of the flagship boutique including building sales, client development, coaching staff, and ensuring operational compliance in a fast paced luxury retail environment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coach sales staff to achieve sales objectives
- Maintain an active management presence on the sales floor modeling exceptional service
- Identify sales opportunities and track delivery and special orders by métier
- Conduct touch base meetings and participate in performance evaluations
- Communicate and enforce CRM standards and associate compliance
- Monitor scheduling, E-time, vacation and attendance records
- Organize seasonal trainings and ensure product knowledge at point of sale
- Assist in recruiting, interviewing and maintaining candidate database
- Run the business and make critical client and operational decisions in leadership absence
Requirements
- 4+ years of retail management experience, luxury experience preferred
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Cegid and E-time
- Ability to learn POS payroll and merchandise systems and troubleshoot
- Ability to interpret sales data and make business recommendations
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift 0-25 lbs without assistance
- Flexible availability to meet business needs
- Experience achieving sales and inventory targets
