Summary
The Assistant Manager, Product will serve as a brand ambassador and business leader focused on driving assigned product categories, coaching and managing a boutique sales team, and partnering with the Boutique Director and Home Office buying team to deliver elevated client experiences and business results.
Responsibilities
- Coach and inspire the team through time spent on the selling floor to deliver elevated client experiences
- Create a positive working environment fostering feedback, diversity, respect, and teamwork
- Provide initial and ongoing training on product knowledge and service delivery
- Drive all aspects of the assigned product category including analysis and reporting
- Manage assortment planning and partnership with the buying team
- Run product category operations and lead the team with agility and resilience
- Develop the client base through community involvement and local partnerships
- Represent the brand at social and seasonal events to grow market presence
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of related experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Strong communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team
- Passion for product knowledge and delivering an exceptional client experience
- Flexible schedule with ability to work late nights, weekends, and some holidays
- Ability to lift up to 15 lbs
- Comfort with boutique management and in-store presence to coach teams and maintain standards
