Assistant Manager - Specialty Coffee - Roosevelt Field

Summary

The Assistant Manager will lead and develop the coffee team, support daily operations of the unit, and ensure excellent customer service while maintaining productivity and cost controls. This role includes completing a Manager in Training program and stepping into a managerial path within the food and beverage environment.

Responsibilities

• Complete a comprehensive Manager in Training program covering unit operations
• Hire train manage and motivate a crew to deliver outstanding customer service
• Ensure compliance with company procedures and operational standards
• Maintain productivity and control costs for the unit
• Support customer satisfaction and resolve issues as they arise
• Oversee daily opening closing and shift operations
• Monitor inventory and basic accounting related to the unit

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years coffee bar management experience
• Solid written and verbal communication skills
• Basic accounting skills and ability to manage unit finances
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
• Food handlers card where required by local and state regulations
• Demonstrated leadership and coaching abilities
