Summary

The Assistant Sales Department Manager supports the department manager to drive sales, coach and develop the sales team, maintain merchandising standards, and deliver exceptional customer experiences in a women's apparel department.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, hire, train and motivate department sales associates
• Assist the department manager in achieving department volume and productivity goals
• Develop and execute business plans to meet sales targets
• Coach salespeople to deliver outstanding customer service
• Actively sell on the sales floor to build customer relationships
• Ensure merchandising and presentation standards are met
• Assist with accurate inventory management and shrinkage control
• Collaborate with store and divisional leaders to maintain productive relationships

Requirements
