Summary

The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in overseeing daily store operations at Garden State Plaza, ensuring excellent customer service, driving sales performance, supervising staff, managing inventory, and implementing company policies and omni channel initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Store Manager in achieving store sales goals and maximizing profitability
• Support implementation of company programs, policies and procedures
• Supervise and lead store team and act as a positive role model
• Manage inventory and merchandising to maintain brand presentation
• Perform Store Manager duties in the manager’s absence
• Exercise discretion and independent judgment in day-to-day management
• Deliver world class customer service and build client relationships
• Support omni channel services and initiatives

Requirements

• Proven retail management experience with leadership responsibilities
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Passion for fashion and product knowledge in premium denim
• Ability to drive sales and improve store performance
• Comfort with change and innovation in the retail environment
• Customer focused with strong relationship building skills
• Legal authorization to work in the United States
