Summary
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the team to deliver an elevated luxury shopping experience while driving sales and operational excellence at the Woodbury Commons Outlet. This role focuses on clienteling, team development, and maintaining brand standards to grow customer loyalty and store performance. The Assistant Store Manager will also oversee daily operations and assist in executing merchandising and marketing initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in achieving individual and store sales targets and drive sales performance.
- Deliver a personalized luxury experience to high-net-worth clientele and build strong client relationships through CRM strategies and follow-ups.
- Ensure the team delivers superior product knowledge and exceptional client service.
- Assist in recruiting, onboarding, training, and providing ongoing coaching and performance feedback to the team.
- Oversee daily store operations including inventory management, cash handling, stock replenishment, and loss prevention.
- Maintain luxury brand standards through visual merchandising and store presentation.
- Analyze sales reports and KPIs to identify opportunities for improvement and support business growth.
- Support execution of marketing and promotional strategies and develop initiatives to increase foot traffic and client loyalty.
Requirements
- 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role within luxury fashion or related categories.
- Strong understanding of luxury clientele, high-touch service, and clienteling techniques.
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills with the ability to coach a team.
- Proficiency using CRM systems and retail POS software.
- Passion for luxury fashion, fine jewelry, watches, or lifestyle products.
