Summary
The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in leading the store team to deliver an elevated luxury shopping experience while driving sales and operational excellence at the Woodbury Commons Outlet location. This role is responsible for implementing business strategies, maintaining brand standards, and cultivating strong client relationships through personalized service and CRM-driven follow up. The Assistant Store Manager will also oversee daily operations, inventory control, and team development to meet store performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Support the team in achieving individual and store sales targets and drive overall sales performance.
- Communicate and track store sales and KPIs, providing context and analysis of results.
- Manage store scheduling and payroll to ensure appropriate coverage and expense control.
- Monitor and control store expenses to meet budget targets.
- Participate in recruiting, onboarding, training, and performance management of store associates.
- Deliver high-touch, personalized service to luxury clientele and execute CRM strategies to build client relationships.
- Coach and provide performance feedback to motivate and develop the team.
- Oversee inventory management, cash handling, stock replenishment, and loss prevention procedures.
- Maintain luxury visual merchandising and store presentation standards.
- Analyze sales reports to identify opportunities for improvement and support marketing and traffic-driving initiatives.
Requirements
- 5+ years of retail experience, preferably in a leadership role within luxury retail.
- Strong understanding of luxury clientele and clienteling techniques.
- Proven ability to drive sales and meet or exceed targets.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with CRM systems, retail POS software, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with financial management and payroll oversight.
- Ability to prioritize and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexible availability including weekends, holidays, and varied shifts.
- Demonstrated ability to train, develop, and lead teams with high ethical standards.
