Summary
The Assistant Store Manager supports the Store Manager in daily store operations at the Woodbury Common Premium Outlets location, leading the team, managing merchandise, and driving sales while delivering inclusive client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead by example on the selling floor and support the sales process
- Assist in resolving customer issues and model customer service standards
- Maintain and execute visual merchandising standards and collaborate with Visual Team
- Support recruitment, training, development, and succession planning for team members
- Manage day to day store operations to meet KPIs and profit and loss expectations
- Maintain inventory accuracy and control shrinkage through operational initiatives
- Perform special projects or tasks as directed by the Store Manager
Requirements
- 5+ years retail experience
- Previous experience managing others in a customer service environment
- Proven ability to motivate, develop, and coach team members
- Strong analytical skills with ability to analyze retail KPI and on floor behaviors
- Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient with POS systems and Microsoft Office suite
- Flexible to work retail schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
