Summary
The Selling Manager supports store leadership by executing strategic plans to drive profitable business results, coaching the sales team, and managing daily and weekly objectives. This role focuses on sales performance, customer satisfaction, team development, and operational execution in a retail store environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coach sales associates to achieve sales targets and KPIs
- Assign and manage tasks, goals, and priorities for the store team
- Model selling behaviors and provide feedback and mentorship
- Implement clienteling strategies and execute promotional activities
- Monitor sales metrics and report performance to store management
- Support inventory control and maintain productivity standards
- Supervise cash transactions, deposits, and register balancing
- Participate in recruitment and training efforts
- Ensure compliance with health safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Retail supervisory or similar industry experience
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain positive customer and team relationships
- Strong planning prioritization and time management skills
- Ability to operate register stand and be mobile for multiple hours
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks on the sales floor
- Flexibility to work days evenings weekends and occasional overnight travel
- Business acumen and awareness of fashion industry trends
