Summary
Support the General Manager in leading store operations and a high performance sales team at the Chicago outlet, ensuring exceptional customer service, brand representation, and operational compliance. Act as a role model on the sales floor while assisting with back of house functions and contributing to marketing and client experience initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the sales team through training, coaching and motivation to drive sales and profitability.
- Assist the General Manager with day to day store operations and staff efficiency.
- Maintain store presentation and visual merchandising standards per company directives.
- Support inventory, shipping, receiving, POS systems, maintenance and security processes.
- Build and maintain client relationships and conduct clienteling activities.
- Enforce operational policies and security measures to achieve shrink targets.
- Collaborate on events, marketing and competitive research to optimize business performance.
- Delegate tasks and ensure a professional work environment for staff.
- Demonstrate accountability and leadership in managing store activities.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Fashion or Business preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of management experience, luxury retail experience preferred.
- Full understanding of specialty retail including clienteling and visual merchandising.
- Proficiency with retail POS systems and Microsoft Word Excel and email.
- Strong leadership critical thinking and problem solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- High energy outgoing entrepreneurial sales focused personality.
