Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in driving store performance through strategic planning, operational excellence, and talent development. This role helps create a consistent customer experience, execute business initiatives, and make key decisions in the GM's absence to ensure a profitable store.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with business analysis and strategic planning for the store
• Educate and coach the team on sales, profit performance tools and resources
• Deliver a consistent customer experience aligned to the store vision
• Lead client development strategies and community outreach in the market
• Execute talent strategy including recruiting, coaching and performance development
• Manage store processes including inventory control to meet shrink and productivity goals
• Champion new selling technologies and maintain store standards and policies

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent a plus; retail management experience preferred
• Experience in a high-volume or specialty retail environment with proven sales results
• Strong communication, business acumen and time management skills
• Ability to operate register, stand and walk for extended periods, lift up to 30 lbs and work around stock areas
• Flexible availability including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel
