Associate Manager

Summary

The Associate Manager supports the General Manager in driving store performance and executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable business. This role helps lead the team, maintain brand standards, and deliver an exceptional customer experience while overseeing day-to-day store operations. The Associate Manager also contributes to client development, talent growth, and inventory control.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in analyzing business trends and executing strategic initiatives for the store
• Educate and coach the team on sales and profit performance tools and resources
• Create and maintain a consistent customer experience aligned to brand expectations
• Assist in client development strategy and lead community outreach in the market
• Execute talent strategy, including recruitment, coaching, and ongoing development
• Manage store processes and execution, including inventory control and shrink goals
• Champion new selling technologies and omnichannel initiatives to drive results

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent a plus
• Retail management or similar experience in a complex, high-volume specialty environment preferred
• Strong communication skills with customers and store personnel
• Ability to stand, move and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and occasional travel
• Proven track record of building positive customer and team relationships and strong planning/prioritization skills
