Associate Manager - San Ysidro

Summary

As the Associate Manager you support the General Manager in creating and executing strategic plans to ensure a profitable store. You help drive operational excellence, optimize talent, and deliver the Ralph Lauren brand experience through strong leadership and new ways of selling.

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager with business analysis and strategic planning for the store
• Educate and coach the team on sales, profit performance tools and resources
• Create and maintain a consistent customer experience aligned to the store vision
• Lead client development strategy and community outreach in the market
• Execute talent strategy including recruiting, coaching and ongoing development
• Manage store operations, inventory control and shrink prevention
• Champion new technology and More Ways to Shop to drive sales
• Maintain sales floor and store standards at all times

Requirements

• College degree or equivalent a plus; retail management or similar high-volume specialty experience preferred
• Proven track record of building and maintaining positive customer and team relationships
• Strong communication, planning and time-management skills
• Ability to operate register and perform physical store tasks, including standing, walking and lifting up to 30 lbs
• Flexible schedule availability including days, evenings, weekends and potential travel
