Beauty Advisor - Cosmetics

Summary

Provide outstanding customer service and drive individual and vendor line sales as the brand expert on the cosmetics counter. Build and maintain customer relationships using clienteling tools, participate in in-house training and facial consultation events, and ensure counters are properly merchandised while closing retail sales.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and deliver exceptional consultative beauty experiences
• Achieve and exceed individual and vendor line sales goals and event targets
• Perform professional make-up application and treatment consultations
• Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information
• Maintain counter standards and a clean welcoming selling area
• Work collaboratively with team members and vendor representatives
• Drive business through follow up and relationship building

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience preferably in cosmetics
• Proven successful sales experience exceeding quota
• Ability to work in a fast paced team oriented environment
• Ability to learn and use proprietary clienteling software
• Strong interpersonal skills with professional grooming and presentation
• Attention to detail and initiative to drive individual business
