The Beauty Advisor delivers an elevated client experience by providing personalized beauty consultations, demonstrations, and sales. This role focuses on achieving individual cosmetic and department sales goals while using clienteling tools and social media to grow business. The Advisor maintains a professional presence at the counter and promotes cross selling and in-store services to enhance the customer journey.

Responsibilities

• Achieve and exceed individual and department sales goals
• Provide professional make up and treatment consultation and application
• Use online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
• Actively participate on social media to grow personal brand and business
• Cross sell beyond one line to increase client basket
• Offer appropriate in store services to personalize the shopping experience
• Maintain counter standards ensuring a clean welcoming space
• Provide exceptional client experience from approach to follow up
• Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
• Proven sales success achieving or exceeding goals
• Comfortable using social media and technology
• Able to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to listen and adapt communication styles
• Problem solving and collaborative teamwork orientation
