The Beauty Advisor provides an elevated client experience by delivering personalized beauty consultations and driving cosmetic sales. This role focuses on building client relationships, utilizing online clienteling tools and social media, and achieving individual and department sales goals while maintaining counter standards.
Responsibilities
- Achieve and exceed individual cosmetic and event sales goals and department daily and monthly targets
- Provide dynamic in-store service presence and professional makeup and treatment consultations and applications
- Ask appropriate questions to identify client needs and recommend products or services
- Actively participate on social media to grow personal brand and client business
- Utilize online clienteling tools to record and maintain client information and preferences
- Cross sell across product lines to increase client basket and drive results
- Proactively offer in-store services to personalize and enhance the shopping experience
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and welcoming counter and store presentation
- Perform ad hoc responsibilities as needed
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year retail experience within the beauty industry
- Proven successful sales experience achieving or exceeding goals
- Comfortable using social media and technology for clienteling and business growth
- Ability to learn and utilize online clienteling tools and software
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with ability to collaborate on a team
- Demonstrated problem solving and adaptability in client interactions
- Professional presentation and ability to represent the brand on the sales floor
