The Beauty Counter Manager provides personalized beauty experiences and leads sales for an assigned beauty brand. This role blends selling and teaching, drives counter performance through in-store and digital tools, manages events and vendor relationships, and maintains a customer ready environment.
Responsibilities
- Deliver makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer needs
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
- Open new customer loyalty accounts and build customer following
- Keep department organized, clean, and customer ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer experience
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent customer connection skills and ability to handle customer concerns
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and use networking and technology for selling
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Physical ability to stand and move continuously for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to lift regularly up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
