Beauty Counter Manager - Del Amo Fashion Center

Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads a brand counter on the sales floor, delivering personalized makeup and skincare services while driving sales. This role balances selling and educating customers, builds loyalty both in-store and digitally, and partners with vendors to execute events and promotions. The manager also oversees daily counter operations to maintain organization and presentation.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications and skincare analyses, recommending products to meet customer beauty goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and build strong vendor relationships
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment
• Maintain counter organization, cleanliness, merchandising, and customer readiness
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive and welcoming customer experience

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, including trends, makeup application, and skincare knowledge
• Excellent customer connection skills and the ability to proactively resolve customer concerns
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through, and sales-driven mindset
• Comfort using networking and technology for sales, including social media and texting
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Physical ability to be in continuous movement 6-8 hours per shift and perform repetitive reaching, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds
