Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager leads sales and customer experiences for an assigned luxury beauty brand within the department, combining hands-on makeup and skincare services with sales and team collaboration. This role focuses on achieving counter sales goals through in-store and digital selling, managing events and vendor relationships, and maintaining a customer-ready counter. The manager supports a welcoming environment and drives loyalty through product recommendations and Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.

Responsibilities

• Conduct makeup applications and skincare analyses tailored to customer goals
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales targets using in-store and digital tools
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
• Provide product recommendations and open new Nordstrom Rewards accounts
• Collaborate with team members to create an inclusive customer environment
• Maintain organization and cleanliness to keep the department customer-ready
• Handle sales transactions including refunds and exchanges
