Responsibilities
- Perform makeup applications and skincare analyses and recommend products based on customer goals
- Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools
- Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to maximize results
- Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges, and open customer rewards accounts
- Keep the department organized, clean, and customer-ready
- Stay current on beauty trends and product knowledge through trainings
- Collaborate with team members to create a welcoming inclusive environment
- Use networking and technology to build a customer following
Requirements
- Passion for customer service and beauty, including makeup application and skincare
- Excellent ability to connect with customers and handle concerns with empathy
- Strong multitasking, organization, and follow-through skills
- Drive to achieve sales goals and comfort selling on commission
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends
- High level of ownership, accountability, and initiative
- Physical ability to be on feet and perform bending, lifting, and reaching for 6-8 hours per shift
- Ability to regularly lift up to 10 pounds and occasionally up to 25 pounds
