Summary

The Beauty Counter Manager creates personalized beauty experiences and drives sales for assigned luxury brands at the store counter. This role balances selling and teaching, builds customer relationships both in-store and digitally, and oversees counter operations to maintain brand standards. The manager collaborates with vendors and teammates to execute events and promotions that grow the business.

Responsibilities

• Provide makeup applications, skincare analyses and personalized product recommendations.
• Set and achieve personal and counter sales goals using in-store and digital selling tools, including text and social media.
• Manage scheduling and execution of vendor events and promotions and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Handle sales transactions, refunds, exchanges and assist customers with Nordstrom Rewards enrollment.
• Keep the counter organized, customer-ready and up to date on product and industry knowledge through training.

Requirements

• Passion for beauty, trends, makeup application and skincare with strong customer service skills.
• Ability to connect with customers, proactively resolve concerns and contribute to a positive team environment.
• Strong multitasking, organization, follow-through and a drive to meet sales goals using networking and technology.
• Flexible availability including evenings and weekends and physical ability to be on your feet 6-8 hours, bend, reach and lift up to 25 pounds.
